Cosplay Competition
In the cosplay competition
you get the chance to show off
your cosplay to the judges up close
and do a performance in
front of an audience!
The cosplay competition is judged on both craftsmanship and performance, and consists of two parts: Pre-judging and an on-stage performance.
During pre-judging you will get 4 minutes with our amazing judges. This is your time to really show off your costume and craftsmanship. Show the judges the techniques you have used on your costume, let them marvel over all the small details up close, and talk about the process of making your cosplay. This is also the time for the judges to ask questions about your costume and process, if they have any.
For the on-stage performance you will have up to 3 minutes at your disposal to show off your cosplay to the audience. This is the place to bring your character to life and to bring out your inner entertainer! For the performance you will have the option to use microphones and there will be a large screen behind you to help elevate your show.
After signing up for the competition you will receive an e-mail with a tech form to fill out, and instructions on how and when to send us the file for your performance.
